George & Delilah opted for a cowboy-themed e-session that was captured by Open Image Photography at the Reefsteamers depot. The couple got married yesterday, 22 September 2013, at Oakfield Farm in Muldersdrift.
How did you meet?
George and I went to go to school together, we noticed each and every other but we were not in the same social circles. George was a ruby player and I was much more into academics the nerd. We in no way exchange names or conversation untill we re-united on Facebook 10 years later. Following 3 months of persuasion and sweet speak, we went on our 1st date – I’m so glad we did. Now, 2 years later we are obtaining married!
How was the query popped?
George was trying to ‘test the waters’ to see whether or not I was ready to marry him – I wasn’t ready, much more stubborn then something – Then I realized I created a horrible mistake and regretted it. I dropped hints pushing him gently to propose. He didn’t for a while…
Then, he took me away for a weekend to nevertheless point, I was oblivious to what he was preparing. George arranged for the employees to prepare a dinner for just the two of us below the stars with a candle lit dinner. No words can truly explain how excellent this evening was rose petals, wine, music, excellent meals, away from everybody and everything. He went down on his one particular knee place the lovilee ring on my finger and asked me to marry him – My answer was “Yes, please”!
How did you choose on the theme for your engagement shoot?
The very first time he met my close friends was at Gold Reef City. Exactly where we decided to do the “wanted shoot” they provide – we genuinely just wanted to relive the encounter and that was extremely sentimental for us. That day symbolized us receiving way out of our comfort zone of courting. The experience permitted us to be silly and appreciate every other’s business fully.
