If there’;s a Modernist who isn’;t viscerally seduced by a grid, we haven’;t met him or her yet. And the grid of color gradients in the Ombre wool carpet, designed by interior designer Kelly Wearstler, is as masterfully subtle as a watercolor painting—no small feat for a hand-made Nepalese wool rug. No wonder we’;d rather see Ombre hanging on a wall instead of lying under foot.
