Obtaining to feature a wedding once more from one particular of my favourite photographers… All the way from Richardsbay in KZN. Ian and Angela opted to have their wedding at the Thula-Thula Game Reserve. This reserve is the oldest in KZN, owned by the late Lawrence Anthony, properly identified for his book, “The Elephant Whisperer”. Despite the fact that the couple currently had their wedding a month prior to in the UK, exactly where they reside, they opted to have an intimate affair for their South African loved ones.
The couple even ent for a game drive following the ceremony and got a handful of good images with elephants close by!
Q: How did you meet?
We knew every other from operate (not quite romantic) and became buddies, and the rest is, well, now an ever after…
How did Ian propose?
Ian took me to Italy’s Lake Como for a weekend and completely shocked me by proposing with the most stunning ring! I still appear at it and can not believe how well he knew me it is just ideal!
Q: Do you have any tips for future brides?
There is constantly going to be tension as you are trying to organise so a lot but on the day just unwind and take pleasure in all the individuals you adore getting around you and celebrating collectively, this was particularly critical for me as we are such a close household and becoming at Thula-Thula enabled us to do that. It was the complete knowledge of getting there together from the game drives to the wedding to the party afterwards those are memories that my family and I will cherish forever.
My final piece of advice is make positive you have a comfy dress, you have to wear it all day and dance all evening with it, I am so glad I chose a really comfortable dress.
