Patterns this fairly deserve a location on the wall. But Scottish designer Diane Allan has parlayed her formal training in textile design and style to a line of paper products meant not for walls, but for wrapping presents. Through her organization Deesigns, Allan showcases her nicely-honed design sensibilities with a variety of lovely repeat patterns that invoke the very best of Mid-Century Modern motifs with completely modern flair—and in colour schemes applicable to any occasion. If only there was a way to maintain these artful Deesigns out of the dustbin.
