copper and wood modern lamp design Cloche: A “Bluebell” Of A Lamp From Lars Beller Fjetland amazing ideas

One of the unequivocal hits of the London Design Festival was a table lamp prototype by the Norwegian designer Lars Beller Fjetland, and it’s easy to see why. Beller’s Cloche lamp is a jewel-like concoction comprised of a cast iron base, gracefully bent ash wood stem, and dome-like copper (or brass) shade which Fjetland likens to a “bluebell.” In classic Nordic fashion, Fjetland has a keen sensitivity to each the components and the construction of his design and style, exemplified by the reality that Cloche can be dissembled into a straightforward trio of pieces: base, stem and shade. We predict Fjetland has a ringing hit on his hands.
