French style group (and brothers) Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have produced a beautiful new LED pendant light for Italian brand FLOS in which 354 inches of cable are an integral portion of the style. Referred to as AIM, the pendant hangs from a cable generous adequate to give the user broad latitude with the height and path of illumination, while simultaneously making an organic sculptural statement. Obtainable in white, black and polished aluminum, AIM, say the designers, is “a new kind of lamp that is naturally positioned in space—like a plant—with lengthy cables delivering maximum freedom to adjust the direction and height of the light supply.”
