I’ve heard several a rumour of a lovilee scrapbooking shop at The Second Cup before I really years later went to see the spot myself. I was beneath the impression that The Second Cup was a scrapbooking studio with a coffee shop. Significantly to my surprise I located out that The Second Cup and The Memory Shed – Scrapbook Studio had been only two of the numerous lovilee locations to check out at The Weltevreden Farm.
Situated on John Vorster Drive in Weltevreden, the farm boasts a variety of other stores, including a Book Shop, Antiques & Bric-a-brac, Ribbon Embroidery, an Indigenous Nursery & Florist, a Ladies Clothes Boutique, Beautician, Life Coach and a property décor retailer to name just a few. Photographer, Tracey Kelsey and I paid some of the shops a visit, but you’ll have to make a day of it to truly go to all the little areas oneself.
The Second Cup Coffee shop
Now this is a place that knows how to make food appear lovilee and off-course it tastes just as excellent! I have been there a handful of instances currently for breakfasts and lunch and tea, and practically every meal I ordered was loviliefied with some sort of edible flower, practically to pretty to eat! You preserve wanting to turn the plate around to see some other detail.
The Second Cup was began 17 years ago on the farm and has truly kept men and women coming back and back and back for more. There are chickens that roam the outer area below the trees freely and the setting requires you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, if even just for an hour or two. The also offer a modest retail space with lovilee gifting choices.
Two years ago the owners started The Second Cup Deli, which boasts a wine cellar with seating for up to 120 men and women. Here they host weddings, bithdays, conferences and different other occasions, like music events with great acoustics!. On Fridays you are able to go to the deli for a fine dining knowledge, or get your far better half to take you there!

Chez “Poulette” Gift & Décor
I just enjoy this quaint small décor and gifting shop. With items ranging from kitchen to lounge to even some individual accessories, it is a must pay a visit to for your Christmas shopping this year!
The owner Annick Laita is a lovilee lady whom a single can often chat with effortlessly, the ideal match to such a lovilee shop. 1 feels free to browse and is inspired by all the beauty about. I wondered about the name “Chez Poulette” – “‘Chez’ refers to somebody’s house and ‘Poulette’ is a nickname for a chicken in French. The cause I chose the name is mostly due to the fact my father called me Poulette when I was developing up, and I subsequently called my daughter Poulette when she was growing up. And getting on a farm surrounded by chicken, it just felt correct to contact the shop Chez Poulette.” – Annick.
