Among the new products by British designer Jasper Morrison seen at the London Style Festival lately was a set of cast iron cookware designed for the Japanese organization Oigen. Palma is a 5-item suite—it includes a kettle and condiment holder, in addition to regular cooking utensils—all adhering to the lofty manufacturing requirements set by the 160 year-old Oigen. Palma also bears the hallmarks of Morrison’s serene, Zen-like visual sensibility—a specifically fitting aesthetic for this venerable Japanese brand.
