The Pop Art Apartment instantly evokes cheer with bursts of boldness in walls, furnishings and art. This contemporary dream dwelling rooted with a massive Roy Lichtenstein work, was designed by designer-artist Dmitriy Schuka and is positioned in Ekatinburg, Russia.
While the eclectic colour splash is immediate, it’s the mix of antique with modern which tends to make this artistic property so inviting and fascinating. Graphic furniture–think nation flags, geometric patterns and animals–is portrayed in a mix of mod and classic designs, which operates due to the fact they’re in bright hues which harmoniously ties them together. The shared living-dining-kitchen space is drawn with each other by bays of windows elegantly dressed in sheer drapery.
Walls are largely white to contrast the dark wood floors and let the rainbow tones shine.
